Meet Keri Watkins Webb
"Empowering Lives Through Holistic Health & Wellness"
Keri Watkins Webb is a nutritionist, educator, lecturer, author, and lifestyle coach committed to transforming the fatally flawed, American health care system by providing safe and practical solutions to people’s health problems. Over the past 15 years, she has encouraged healthy, mindful living and has inspired individuals to take control of their health rather than relying solely on the recommendations of medical doctors. Keri believes that everyone can become their own health expert once they make the connection that their mind, body, and spirit are intricately linked. By partnering with her clients, she teaches them how to tap into their own instincts and abilities so that they can function independently and confidently. She believes that once people are empowered to strengthen themselves, they will, in turn, strengthen their communities.
Keri has found great success in promoting time-tested holistic approaches and by teaching her clients what to do, instead of telling them what to do. After participating in Keri’s whole-body approach to wellness, her clients have experienced improved immunity, increased energy, significant weight loss, and optimal health.
Keri is a certified Holistic Health Coach with training in Eastern and Western nutritional theory from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in NYC. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Holistic Health Studies from Georgian Court University. In 2010, she founded Empowered Living, LLC, a holistic healthcare practice dedicated to serving individuals and organizations. Currently, she teaches Nutrition at Empire State College and counsels a sizable number of clients in group settings.
Keri collaborates with community organizations across the greater New York City area to provide free weekly nutrition education classes. These interactive classes are specifically designed for children, teens, parents, and seniors—making healthy living accessible for all ages.
Whether it’s 5th graders learning to chop fruit for smoothies or seniors exchanging tips on adding flavor without extra salt, each session is hands-on, practical, and rooted in real-life experiences.
Classes are free for members of participating organizations.

After being prodded and poked by countless doctors and health care professionals and spending thousands of dollars on prescriptions, remedies, and concoctions, Keri Watkins Webb was sick and tired of being sick and tired. In 2001, she discontinued her reliance on doctors and medications and began a spiritual and physical journey to holistic health and healing. After modifying her eating habits, increasing her exercise regimen, and relying on spiritual guidance, she overcame numerous health conditions that plagued her body and impacted her life: hypothyroidism, anemia, radon poisoning, fibroid tumors, and a persistent weight problem--just to name a few.
In March 2003, Keri was led to share her knowledge and experience with others. She believes that health is the vehicle that allows one to fulfill God's purpose for their life--and once someone experiences good health, they will feel truly blessed and bless others in return.

Our Mission

The Watkins Foundation was born from the dreams of brothers Cecil K. and Leroy J. Watkins, who saw the potential in every young person from underserved communities. They started the foundation in 2009, driven by a passion to empower these youths through sports, education, vital training resources, and interventions that could help them make informed decisions that would advance their position in life.
Continuing this heartfelt mission, Keri Watkins Webb has expanded the foundation’s focus to include health and wellness. In keeping with this tradition, Empowered Living NYC not only carries forward her father and uncles’ legacy but also introduces essential health programs in an effort to work administratively and environmentally to reduce health barriers and promote wellness in low-income communities. These initiatives ensure that the young people we support have the tools to live successful, healthy, fulfilled lives and elevate the overall well-being of future generations.
